Engineer, AI and tech trends, simplified.

None of our forefathers had access to such immense knowledge that we currently have. People around us are much more educated than ever been in the human history. This is something we should genuinely feel good about.

Matrix multiplication is the core operation behind AI and machine learning. its easy to learn.

If you use same AI tool after few days it feels different and better, reason being they keep fine-tuning them using feedback, enhance clarity and accuracy, and release frequent updates and add new hardware, making the AI you use today a bit smarter and more natural than before.

It’s quite possible that in the coming decades, companies will rely only on a small number of highly skilled AI engineers and scientists who oversee automated AI systems that handle most of the actual work.

university-level curriculum will deepen your understanding of transformers and more, you can build your own LLMs too.

If you want to learn AI from the experts, keep reading. 💡 Together with @UCL, we made a free AI Research Foundations curriculum – available now on Google Skills. With lessons from a Gemini Lead like @OriolVinyalsML, you'll explore how to code better, fine-tune an AI model and…

This sounds impressive, hopefully someday quantum computer will be a reality.

I met a kitty today, but we couldn’t communicate due to the language barrier. Hopefully, one day AI will help us talk to animals.

Your brain uses about 20% of all your body’s energy , even though it’s only 2% of your weight, because maintaining (The brain’s electricity is generated by chemical energy from food and oxygen, converted into ionic currents inside billions of neurons.) energy-intensive.

Electricity in the brain isn’t like current flowing through wires. It’s made by ions. The human body doesn’t have one place where electricity is made. Instead, every single cell- especially neurons, constantly creates and uses small electrical charges through chemical reactions.

Rough numbers: Humanity’s proven, mechanistic understanding of the brain: 20–25% Our hypothesis-driven or partially supported understanding: 50–60% The unknown frontier (consciousness, full cognition): 20–30%

Is the neuron’s power just about connections? A neuron is not just a wire or a switch. It’s a self modifying biological computer. The intelligence of the brain comes from billions of neurons interacting dynamically through constantly changing chemical and electrical patterns.

Let’s imagine we reached just 10% of AGI not full human-level intelligence, machines that can understand, reason, learn and think like a bright child. They would still be very useful. The problem, however, is that you couldn’t fully delegate tasks to them without human oversight

Elon’s forecasts are too ambitious on timing, but often right on direction.

My estimate of the probability of Grok 5 achieving AGI is now at 10% and rising

Sophisticated world model will be key to real world agi.

Despite having its own TPUs and powerful cloud infrastructure, Google is still stingy about offering free access to Gemini 2.5 Pro. Any idea why?
