CID asking the shift to ‘throw a quick CR on’, when they have the same tech as, know the details same as us and they’re taking the crime is just one of many things that need to stop - everyone, in every department, just boots what little life is left in it out of the shift.
None of this equipment is available to Cops on the shift. I went to an attempt murder recently and the station Israeli bandage had to be brought to me from the gaffer’s office. Teach them to use Naloxone, that’s political so available to everyone 👍
Tourniquets, chest seals and compressed gauze are essential pieces of Police officers' equipment. Today students from Course 04/22 learnt about using these effectively when dealing with life-threatening injuries. #StopTheBleed #LifeOfAProbationer
I have not and you will not ever encounter a more badly run organisation than The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS). Their treatment of victims, civilian witnesses, professional witnesses and police officers is an out and out disgrace; and they answer to no-one.
Outside of the job, imagine being that Cop’s partner, child, mother hearing that decision and knowing that the person did that to your loved one walks the streets laughing at the outcome. For shame!

Unless I’ve missed it, there has been no comment from @CC_Livingstone on the appalling sentencing decision by a local Sheriff in relation to a horrific police assault. I am sure it will be the opinion of every police officer in Scotland that this is simply not good enough.
Promoting the fact that in Scotland you even don’t get a night in the cells for walking the streets with a knife 🙄
During last night's patrols, Riverside cycle officers stopped a group of males acting suspiciously in the city centre. First male searched found to be in possession of controlled drugs, the second had a lockback knife. Arrested and will appear in court at a later date #GGDVRU
