Having fun editing our system faculty and staff websites & I realized how important it's to provide our students with the opportunities to learn coding languages K-12.

I enjoyed helping a teacher bring back life to their 9 year-old iMac today. They now have an SSD, 8 GB Ram, & Windows 10 running well on their iMac. I can’t wait to teach 6th grade students how to upgrade computers next year.

As I am rewiring my home & running networking cable I realized how great it would be if we taught our students networking skills. I definitely want to try and incorporate these skills into the classroom in the future.

I had fun swapping out a motherboard for a fellow worker this morning, so they can use their laptop. I look forward to showing students how this process works.

A student in class today learned how to use machine oil to fix the stuck gears in their Xbox disc drive & bring back life to the drive. I am really proud of the student’s determination & problem solving skills. @GCSS_GMS

The coolest thing happened in class today. My students know I have been studying for an upcoming exam. They randomly picked up my review guide off my desk and helped me prepare for the test. They quizzed me while I was teaching and helping students. Our students are truly awesome

I think it’s awesome I can upgrade my classroom computers & turn them into fast computers for student use. Students will have a better learning experience on the computers now. The @iFixit kit allows me to easily take apart a PC in seconds & it’s my favorite tool kit!l

So happy I was able to take apart the computer, upgrade the RAM & hard drive, & and deploy a new image for the front office employee at @GCSS_GMS. They now have a computer that runs quick and effectively.

6th grade STEAM students were able to remake a wooden snowflake puzzle in @Onshape in 2 days! They can almost recreate anything I challenge them with in a few days. @GCSS_GMS @Makerspaces_com

iMovie never seems to stop amazing me @AppleEDU. The new teacher had several issues with their iPhone video being flipped upside down & iMovie was super easy at correcting the issue. Now the new teacher will be able to use their classroom video footage for their edTPA!

It’s amazing to see 6th grade students who were able to recreate a cellphone stand from scratch with digital calipers & @Onshape in 1 hour! These students have definitely mastered dimensioning, x & y coordinates, and basic @Onshape CAD skills.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro Tennis Video youtu.be/rPc5RVbv-A8 via @YouTube The Mavic Pro 2 is an incredible tool for coaching @DJIGlobal I wish I can get students to use this tech in the classroom. They can create instructional videos that show mastery of the standards in creative ways!
