A huge relief to hear that this morning's fire at Herbies Pizza in the Goldsworth Park Trading Estate has been kept under control and the risk of it spreading has gone. Huge thanks go to those at @WokingFire for their quick action.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the incident at @wokingfireworks this evening. We hope that there are no serious injuries and we give our thanks to the emergency services and the event organisers for acting quickly and professionally.
We are all very shocked and distressed by events in the funfair this evening. We are focussing in assisting the emergency services in dealing with the injured children. If you’ll excuse us, we’ll turn our attention to dealing with ticketing issues etc when we can?
1/5 It is with great sadness that we share news that Elizabeth Evans passed away at home last week. Liz has been a tour de force in our community for many years, with many notable accomplishments; of which we name but a few here.
Remembering Liz Evans: in 2013, celebrating, having played a major role in bringing a local election fraud case to court and securing a successful verdict. 🌹
GPAG have complained to the Council about problem areas on the pavement in the area. Two inconveniences - Watercress Way and Rosehill Avenue - are to be rectified. This is great for the local community who will be able to navigate the area with mor ease and dignity.
Chris May be Labour but I have always enjoyed spring with him he is a genuine community focused person and I look forward to working with him in his new role

John Martin was a long-standing colleague and friend of our founder Chris Martin. We at GPAG would like to extend our condolences to John's friends and family at this very sad time.
