Really feeling like I’ll give TAG another shot at grading some of my vintage. I’ve been happy with every sub I’ve sent to them, but have also been pretty particular with what I’ve sent. A TAG 8/9 low end vintage card is def worth less / harder to sell than a PSA counterpart.
Apparently vintage cards have to be black label to get PSA 10 nowadays 🙄 (Perfect surfaces on this group of cards)

This recent PSA mishap definitely strengthens my thesis that pre Covid PSA 10 premiums vs 9 are not justified - the question is still, are 10s overvalued or 9s undervalued? It seems to me PSA only reviewed the grades because somebody saw the X post and wanted to avoid bad press.
