It is advised not to spray insecticides once the spikelets start sprouting to help conserve the bee population. It can be done right after mowing as spikelets do not form@until 8-10 days after mowing. #UGATurfFD22
Honeybees will also come Centipeed grass spikelets. The spikelets also just produce pollen not nectar. #UGATurf22
