Has anyone heard from Southampton or KCL re GEM applications yet? Not coping too well with having absolutely no idea what path my life might be taking this year 😅 I’m assuming it’s rejections, which I’m fine with, but I just want to know so I can start making more solid plans!
Rejection number two is in! Cambridge is also off the list. Sensing a theme here 😅
First rejection through, as expected from the UCAT, so not shocked but thought I should update regardless (St George’s standard entry)

I can’t get my UCAS application to submit because I hadn’t realised my reference had been just sitting there doing nothing instead of being with my old personal tutor 😭 I don’t know if they will see the request before the deadline now…. Guess that’s that then 😞
UCAT done! Slightly lower than I wanted pretty much all round but a Band 1 in SJT so won’t complain
It’s UCAT day and I nearly put chilli jam in my porridge instead of raspberry jam. This bodes well 😅
To revise the morning of the UCAT or to not revise? In terms of other exam prep I’ve got nothing planned either side, so it should be a chilled out day (bar trying to get to the test centre)
I’ve completed mini mocks on all but VR and I’ve been getting either good or decent results. VR is the hurdle I’ve yet to conquer. I think it’s just a panic at the sheer amount of text I have to read with a clock ticking in the corner. Just gotta practice 🤷🏼♂️
I have finally sat an Abstract Reasoning practice question and had the answer be obvious to me instead of having to make a wild guess. Maybe there is hope after all!
