We want to get businesses and public authorities working together 🤝 to tackle #childhoodobesity using the power of #advertising! If you're a public authority and are interested in what we have to offer, please contact us 📩here: [email protected]

Consuming a high fat & sugar diet contributes to #obesity which is linked to declines in brain performance and #diabetes. Children should be educated about #nutrition & #healthyeating as well as doing regular #physicalactivity to reduce #childhoodobesity theguardian.com/science/2020/f…

Great to see @GSTTCharity working towards reducing #childhoodobesity by increasing the access everyone has to #healthyfood. Their Everyday Takeaway programme with @shift_org provides families on lower incomes with affordable healthy options

How are we designing environmental interventions for #ChildhoodObesity that work for real lives? Our long-read spotlights how we support several, sometimes very different, interventions in one place to make incremental, lasting change. Read here👉bit.ly/30Mw3Zo

Great to see @YouthSportTrust #HealthyMovers programme making #exercise fun for young children. Consistent #PhysicalActivity should be available for children of all ages and backgrounds as it is crucial for helping to reduce #childhoodobesity bbc.co.uk/news/education…

It’s time to push back on the rise of childhood obesity. I’ve written for @wef to explain how we can and must put children at the heart of our food systems. #WEF20 weforum.org/agenda/2020/01…

The @WHO have said #obesity is "one of the most serious public health challenges of the 21st Century". Successful actions to reduce #childhoodobesity won't just reduce age-adjusted BMI, but will also improve #Wellbeing and #mentalhealth @WorldObesity s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/wof-files/CHOT…

Just so happen to be interested in viewing #Obesity prevalence around the world? Or maybe you're a huge fan of maps? Well we have interactive maps that show (you guessed it) obesity prevalence worldwide. Find these, and so much more, right here: worldobesitydata.org/map/overview-a…

#Obesity, under-nutrition & #climatechange are the 3 causes that will bring about the "coming food industry apocalypse". Great article by @Forbes using @TheLancet's Commission Report. A new global food industry alliance is needed to help solve these issues forbes.com/sites/hankcard…

One third of children aged between 2 and 15 are #overweight or #obese. @BiteBack2030 aims to half #childhoodobesity by 2030. One great way to do that is labelling all food with the "traffic light" system. Food labelling should be helpful, not misleading theguardian.com/food/2020/jan/…

The @SAfoodforlife #stateofthenation report found that 4 in 10 children leaving primary school will be #overweight or #obese by 2024. We should set ambitious targets for #healthyfood in schools, educate children about #nutrition and encourage regular #physicalactivity

You won’t believe this! 😱 It's national sugar awareness week, so we looked at the amount of sugar in a 500ml bottle of coke (which is 2 portions) it has more than twice the amount of sugar than two Krispy Kreme Cookies and Kreme doughnuts combined. Now that’s shocking! 🙅
