I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I just folded a load of laundry straight out of the dryer. 🤷‍♀️😁

Developing positive self-talk is vital to our sense of self. Do you talk to yourself with anger or frustration? Try to change those toxic outlooks. Speak gently to yourself with love. #selflove #selfcompassion

People with ADHD often thrive w routines. Why? Bc they often lack executive functioning skills, so they struggle to figure out how long something will take, getting organized, and more.

If we learn to live with anxiety rather than doing everything we can to avoid it. We can feel a lot more empowered. Voicing how we feel makes it a lot less like we are just an anxious mess #Panic #Anxiety #CALM

Base line anxiety is with me all the time since this year started. It’s like living with a constant fast rhythm that speeds up on some days and is actually quite challenging to manage. But I’m not going to squash it down. Trying to let it roll.

Hi Psychiatry Doctor here Telling people not to have an anxiety attack whilst they are having an anxiety attack is as effective as telling someone who is having a heart attack not to have a heart attack Just saying...

One of the things I find so frustrating about having ADHD is obsessively having to finish tasks that take time and should be a process. It’s like the hyper focus sparks my adrenaline and I can’t turn off that inner engine. It means I inevitably crash after. Anyone relate?

In an attempt to procrastinate doing any study I find myself this morning frantically and suddenly needing to clean out drawers and my laundry cupboards. It’s like no matter how much I try to be over organized and put things into categories I still lose things.

Who has been looking for their phone and realized that it’s been in their hand the whole time. Yup that’s neurotypical. Not

The irony of ADHD is that you can’t do anything because you want to do everything.

Learning that there are days you just feel neither good or bad. Just blah. The in between zone. Having had highs and lows all my life. I need to learn to that’s ok.

I think rather than make New Years resolutions. We should congratulate ourselves on making it through 2021.
