With a Geo-Replicated Azure SQL DB that is already replicated with ALLOW_CONNECTIONS = ALL, is there a way to alter the replica to ALLOW_CONNECTIONS = NO after it is already setup without a drop and recreate? #sqlhelp

#sqlhelp Anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this? It must still need to hit the primary replica in some manner before being routed to readable secondary.
#sqlhelp Trying to create a login with ONLY access to a database on a readable secondary. I create login on both primary and secondary, deny connect on primary. Connect with readonly intent, and get login failed. verified RO routing is working without DENY connect on primary.
