GopherJS 1.18.0-beta2 is out! This holiday gift is brought by our awesome user community, who contributed most of the features in it. `embed` package support and faster maps are the highlights, but there is much more! github.com/gopherjs/gophe…
By the way, GopherJS playground has been updated to the latest 1.18.0-beta1 release of GopherJS: gopherjs.github.io/playground/
Снова зашел в @devzen_ru, рассказал про альтернативные компиляторы Go, и в частности про @GopherJS

Shout out to Tom Connell for contributing github.com/gopherjs/gophe…! It makes cost of len() O(1) relative to the size of the map, where before it was O(n) and could get really slow for large maps. 🚀
At last, Go 1.18 support comes to GopherJS: github.com/gopherjs/gophe…. This is a very big release for us with many important changes, check out release notes to find out more!

Time for another @GopherJS live development thread. Last time () we were fixing standard library test failures introduced by Go 1.18. Today we will focus on the compiler regression test suite: github.com/golang/go/tree…
So, I have a few spare hours and am going to spend them on adding Go 1.18 support to @GopherJS. And as an experiment, I'll try to live tweet how it goes. So if you are not in a mood for threads, mute me for a few hours :)
Since no major objections have been raised, the proposal has been accepted 🚀 The first ES 2015 feature to appear in GopherJS 1.18 is likely to be destructuring assignments, enabling more compact code generation for multi-value returns 🗜
Is it time for GopherJS to begin using ECMAScript 2015 features? There is a proposal to do just that: github.com/gopherjs/gophe…. What do you think?

So, do you want to see more GopherJS live development threads like yesterday? I won't doo them too often (tweeting slows the work down quite a bit), but there are plenty of interesting projects ahead (generics 😱).
If you are curious what it takes to support a new Go version in GopherJS, you can follow this thread live as @Nevkontakte attempts to make our basic CI workflow pass with Go 1.18 👩💻

GopherJS 1.17.2 for Go 1.17.9 is here! A good collection of bug fixes and quality of life improvements included: github.com/gopherjs/gophe… 🚀 Thanks to all contributors who contributed to this release!
My biggest contribution to @GopherJS yet: github.com/gopherjs/gophe…. It solves several problems, both internal (technical debt and complexity) and user-facing (needing a C++ Node extension for file system access). Check it out and leave your feedback!
Back in September we've reached out to you all with a survey about your @GopherJS usage and problems. A huge thanks to all responders! As 2021 comes to a close, we are sharing what we've learned from it: medium.com/gopherjs/gophe… 📈📊

We’ve reached out to our users to learn more about how they use GopherJS and problems they face. Here’s what we’ve learned!
Hi Gophers! We've prepared a quick 15-question survey to help us evolve GopherJS in the right direction: forms.gle/1esXWVna4C9NAd…. Everyone is welcome to respond, and especially anyone who used, uses or interested in GopherJS or Go WebAssembly 📚 🤓
