Ok. After some pondering I chucked the habañero plan. Instead I'm going with dried guajillo's that I got from @penzeyspices. I'm adding saffron, cardemom, cumin, ground coriander, paprika, black pepper and fresh garlic. Nice combo with the aspergus.
I'm going to try and make a weird combo soup. Our super cool local grocery store is selling white aspergus that didn't quite make the cut. I'm going for habañero from our own garden, some green bell peppers and some sour cream and black pepper. Velvet hot!
