The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (who for some reason has found popularity with liberal journalists) in Pakistan has built a rather fanatical following that has made it all the way to Canada. Here, they stalk a journalist and harass him. Fanaticism. Liberal interventionism.
🚨#BREAKING: PTI leader Barrister Gohar condemns harassment of journalist @shazbkhanzdaGEO in Toronto where the anchor was subjected to abuse and threats (the harasser didn’t upload that part); condemnation pours from all sections of the society.

🚨 Pakistan govt drops plans to grant lifetime legal immunity to current and former PMs in the 27th Amendment. 🔻Plan was dropped after legal hawks warned govt that this immunity would get former PM Imran Khan out of jail.
🇺🇦 🪙 #Ukrainian investigators on Tuesday accused Timur Mindich, a close ally and longtime business associate of President Volodymyr #Zelensky, of orchestrating a $100 million corruption scheme in the energy sector.
BUT.... Because Pakistan is nuclear armed, Pakistan doesn't have to worry about becoming the next Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and they can whine that Pakistan should do this or that all they want.
The Khan's essentially lied to the American public - and through the typical neoliberal channels like the Piers Morgan program and the NYT. Ryan Grim went so far as to claim Taliban affiliated groups were "Palestinian Activists."
Mehdi Hasan, who has a history of retweeting Islamic conspiracy theorists and neoliberals at the same time (perhaps to cover his promotion of conspiracy theories), and Zohran Mamdani, have been told not to speak for Pakistan.
The Pakistani government encouraged foreign pakistanis to "tweet in favor of Palestine," only to be criticized harshly for also backing the US proposal on Palestine. And Palestine is supposed to be "anti-imperialist."
Max Blumenthal, Sameera Khan, GrifterMMA, and the usual tankies spent months defending Russia and China, only to have them not veto the UN resolution that the activists are against and to follow the lead of the cowardly arab countries. 😁
The idea that Pakistanis want to get involved in the middle east is clearly overblown. As I've shown, this isn't what Imran Khan even believed. Probably some Islamic extremists are out there pushing that viewpoint.
This has become a complex regional problem with no easy solutions. Neighbouring countries including Iran, China, and Central Asian states must form a regional forum to press the Taliban to end terrorism for the stability and prosperity of the region: Brig. (R) Rashid Wali Janjua,…
🚨 Article 51 of the UN Charter clearly gives Pakistan the right that if the Afghan Taliban continue sending terrorism into Pakistan, then Pakistan has the right to strike terrorist hideouts inside Afghanistan.
Zohran Mamdani is now among the most popular politicians in the country among Democratic party base voters. Centrist disinformation efforts have had no effect whatsoever.
Just IN: 🇵🇰🇨🇳 China’s Victor Gao, senior foreign affairs expert, says: I consider every victory of Pakistan 🇵🇰 a victory for China. I have travelled the world, but the sense of belonging from Pakistanis is unmatched.
Economics has a serious problem with elite concentration, intellectual insularity, and lack of diversity — a problem far more pronounced in economics than in other disciplines. Consider this striking pattern: economics is the only field in which institutional concentration among…
