A beautiful morning speaking to residents in #Minster ward. We picked up some casework and we’re already acting on it 🌹

This deal offers hope to hostage families who have suffered so much and to Palestinians who have lost their homes and loved ones. We must ensure it means an end to the war, aid for those in need now and supports a pathway to a two state solution.
I welcome the news that a deal has been reached on the first stage of President Trump’s peace plan for Gaza.

Glad to welcome @KhalifaAlHarthy to London this week for the 2nd UK-Oman Ministerial Dialogue and the annual British Omani Society Lunch. See if you can work out what I’m keen to show him.

October 7th 2023 was a horrendous day - the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Today, we keep alive the memory of all those killed by Hamas terrorists and recommit to do everything possible to get every hostage home, including UK-linked Avinatan Or.
Two years on from October 7, we remember all those who lost their lives in that barbaric attack, their families and those still cruelly held by Hamas. We support US-led efforts to secure a ceasefire, end the war and release all hostages. All parties must seize this moment.
Today we mark two years since the horrifying attacks on Israel by Hamas terrorists on October 7th 2023. Time does not diminish the evil we saw that day. The worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. The brutal, cold blooded torture and murder of Jews in their own…
Did you spot that we had Lincoln's MP, Hamish Falconer visit Lincoln College last week? Check out this video of his thoughts, as well as one of our learners, Luke, who took part in a Q&A. Read more on this story here: bit.ly/4pScD0l
Proud to stand in solidarity with fellow Jews earlier - united in grief for the victims of the attack Manchester: and in determination to see the return of all remaining hostages still held in Gaza. Thanks to my colleague @HFalconerMP for standing with us. #BringThemHome

Reports today of an attack on a mosque in Peacehaven are deeply concerning. I am being kept up-to-date by law enforcement. An investigation is ongoing, but it seems clear that things could easily have been far worse. I thank the emergency services for their swift response at…
Honoured to attend today’s memorial ahead of the October 7th anniversary. We remember the hostages still cruelly held by Hamas and those affected by the horrific terrorist attack in Manchester last week. Antisemitism has no place in the UK.

With thanks to Minister @HFalconerMP for standing with us today as we pray for peace and hope that all 48 remaining hostages are released this week. #BringThemHomeNow 🎗️

A great afternoon spent at @lincslibraries today as part of #Lincolnbookfestival with a wonderful story time with author Sarah Tagholm. Really engaging and entertaining for our girls. Lots to do at our local library in North Hykeham also.

Pleased to confirm a second cohort of students from Gaza with scholarships at British universities arrived in the UK today to begin their studies. They could play a vital role as future leaders in postwar Gaza.
I'm horrified to hear of this incident at a synagogue I've been proud to visit. My thoughts are with everyone affected. Please follow the advice of the emergency services.
Police were called to the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, on Middleton Road, Crumpsall, at 9.31am by a member of the public, stating he had witnessed a car being driven towards members of the public, & 1 man had been stabbed.
On Yom Kippur, we join Jewish communities in Lincoln and around the world in reflection and prayer. This most sacred day in the Jewish calendar reminds us of the importance of seeking forgiveness, making amends, and renewing our commitment to justice and compassion.
To all those observing Yom Kippur in the UK and around the world, we wish you a meaningful fast. G’mar Chatima Tova.

This is a perfect profile of @anneliese_midge: including photos of her liquidation club flyers, reviews of conference DJing and London nightlife. She’s a hell of an MP and a hell of a friend and @sophiealichurch has written a great piece on her 👇 politicshome.com/news/article/i…
The new US initiative to deliver an end to the war in Gaza is profoundly welcome.

Global problems need global solutions. My week at the United Nations: 🇺🇳🇬🇧
I am good for my word: RAF Scampton will not house asylum seekers
