Before pandemic many NJ residents participated live. However, NJ residents can not legally participate in the online only format or the number would be significantly higher.
The Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association which which tweeted there was a mandatory payout is NOT Penn National Racetrack. Did they get their info from the track? That I don’t know. However, I do know that they cannot payout anyone as you are suggesting.
The betfair shutdown in NJ for advertised reasons made no sense. Win pool Handle often equaled tracks win pool handle, and that was with only NJ betters. What could it have been if opened nationwide? My gut tells me something else was going on.
The USBetfair NJ exchange shutdown because of lack of interest/handle from players & NY, CD, , Stronach tracks wouldn't participate I bet Tam & Mth & regularly would get better fixed odds though you were limited on bet size

Read your tweet again and it appears you are focusing on the 2nd part of @RonMoquett tweet while I was focusing on the 1st part. Actually do agree with you in regard to listening to others, but changing your mind right up until the gates open, works.

Never works????? As you get closer to post time you have more and more information about the horse, right up to when the gates open. I can tell you that what ever you are doing is WRONG!!!

New project for the Twitter. I will play fictional Live Bank Tourneys based on MTH rules, but using real $ for the bets. I mean the $250 tourneys, where $100 goes to entry fee, $150 goes to live bank. Turning $150 into $2,000 will win prize money and maybe an NHC seat.
There is no one in the stands to witness a this great achievement.
