Grateful to work for an organisation like @homestartuk @HSScotland @HomeStartAngus where we get to contribute to lessening the impact of loneliness & isolation on new parents and babies (& did so all through lockdown). Sadly we have heard this all too often
"I had a baby during lockdown. It was the worst time of my life. Lonely, high anxiety." This is one of many stories told today by attndees at @ThriveApproach. We shd be paying attntn to parents' needs. Maternal anxiety shapes infant biology. We ignore this at our own peril.
