I've stopped worrying about the president's sanity. He's not sane. And the realization of his illness doesn't fill me with anger, but with profound sadness. What I now worry about is the sanity of anyone who can still support this deeply troubled man to lead our country.

Formative assessment might be the greatest and singular best thing you can do in the classroom. It’s not done for a grade. It’s to see how effective your teaching was. It’s to see where students are at in their learning. It’s to see where to go next. #edchat

#EDU6323 sorry to be such a curmudgeon, Auto Correcting Humanity is a nice thought but I fear it is already too late...sometimes it feels as if we are polishing the brass, or reorging the chairs, on the titanic; how do you cope in the face of existential thoughts?

#EDU6323 surprising aspect of the Horizon Report is the trend of Advancing Cultures of Innovation. Surprising despite the fact that my institution has started a committee on Instructional Innovations; interesting to learn that we are not off the beaten path on this thinking.
