Owen Jones has done lots of brilliant work opposing Starmer's government, on the Israeli genocide etc. But let's not forget Owen supported Starmer's leadership in 2020, when lots of us were already opposed theguardian.com/commentisfree/… x.com/owenjonesjourn…

I warned - over and over again - that Keir Starmer would be a disastrous prime minister. That most political journalists did not understand the obvious tells its own story. New post, with receipts 👇 owenjones.news/p/i-warned-you…

By this logic, the PLO is a Zionist movement, Edward Said was a pioneering Zionist intellectual, Hamas became Zionist after 2006, and majorities-to-pluralities of Palestinians in the Occupied Territories have long supported Zionism.

This feels like something we might want to talk about. A 2.6C temperature increase would mean "global disaster" and "the end of agriculture in the UK and across Europe," says Bill Hare, CEO of Climate Analytics x.com/novaramedia/st… #ClimateCrisis @GreenRupertRead @medialens

We should not conflate the inevitable lapses that occur in all journalism with a call to dismantling the BBC. The fact that the BBC responded with an admission of error is indicative of its strengths. Not its fundamental corruption.

Correct. A journalist friend working in a major British TV news studio told us: ‘You must see the reaction in a newsroom when one mentions Chomsky or Pilger. They run the other way, and I can see they are afraid by the look on their faces. Fact is that once you understand and…

If @BBCNews wants to regain trust, it should read more Chomsky and @medialens and learn lessons. However, I have no doubt that all the journalists at the BBC roll their eyes at the very mention of Chomsky and Media Lens, which demonstrates the entire problem #bbcwato

At 500m tall and 170 km long (yes, you've read that right) how anyone ever took Saudi Arabia's Neom city The Line seriously I'll never know. If this article was published on 1 April you'd have a hard time believing it. Insane ig.ft.com/saudi-neom-line @medialens @stillawake
