Fandoms are communities that have every right to reject the myopic, harmful beliefs of their originators. This is OUR world to create and immerse ourselves in every day.
This isn't new, and isn't going away...until we demand attention and continued improvement by those that host the platforms, market the tools, and provide audience to the toxins that continue to make "fandom" a negative connotation.
