New gear for my 1st full day of my clinical rotations! This hip pack organizes my essentials—pens, tape, notepad—right on my waist. As a pre-nursing student, efficiency is key. This means less fumbling and more focus on the people I'm supporting. Ready to get to work!
Swapped the scrubs for some comfort food! A quick stop at Chick-fil-A for my favorite combo—perfectly seasoned chicken and those classic waffle fries—to decompress after today's work. #CNAStudent #PreNursing #ChickFilA #CNA
Scored an 92/100 on my last test in my pre-nursing class on Wednesday (Oct. 29, 2025). #PreNursing #CNAStudent #Healthcare #CNA

On campus early this morning braving the cold rain ahead of my last test in my pre-nursing class. After this, clinical rotations begin! Ready to start the next chapter. "This is your starting line. This is your arena. How well you play, that's up to you." - Dr. Webber.
Seven days remain until the start of my clinical rotations. This next week is dedicated to final preparations. Ready to transition from theory to hands-on patient care and apply everything learned in the CNA program. The countdown is officially on. #CNAStudent #CNA #Autism
Disabilities exist on a wide, diverse spectrum—some are immediately apparent, others are not. We must move beyond a 'cookie-cutter' approach. Every person with a disability has unique needs for support & accessibility. Challenge your assumptions & individualize inclusion.
Everyone deserves safe, loving relationships, including those with disabilities. The right to intimacy & dating is a human right. The focus must be on capacity and enthusiastic consent, not disability. It's time to dismantle stereotypes and respect the autonomy of all individuals.
Religious autonomy—the right to choose, practice, or abstain from faith—is a fundamental human right for all. Denying this choice to individuals with disabilities restricts their full identity and dignity. Supporting religious autonomy is supporting human rights.
The mental health crisis doesn't need sensationalized language. Apple Maps still labels Broughton Hospital with the dehumanizing term "Western North Carolina Insane Asylum." This fuels dangerous stereotypes. Apple, correct this egregious error immediately.
Gearing up for success! My new box of Sharpie S-Gel pens is here—the perfect tool for note-taking in my CNA classes and getting ready for my upcoming clinical rotations. Love that No Smear, No Bleed Technology for clear charting and fast-paced learning. Let the studying begin!
Clinical rotations start in 3 weeks from today. Very excited.

A successful afternoon! I've officially passed my skill assessment on accurately finding a radial pulse and precisely recording pulse findings. It’s the foundational details like this that matter most in patient care. Ready for the next challenge! #CNAStudent #PreNursing
If you knock after 6:30 PM, there's a 90% chance I'm already asleep. The 4:30 AM alarm for Pre-Nursing class is non-negotiable! As Dr. Bailey said, "If I'm sleeping, don’t wake me..." Consider my awake hours "actually dying" after 6. Beauty sleep is life.
One month until my CNA clinical rotation starts! I'm ready to move from the classroom to real-world patient care. Excited to get hands-on experience and learn from amazing healthcare pros! The finish line is in sight—time to stay focused. Ready for this next step! #CNAStudent
