Let. The. Fires. Burn. If landowners harden their homes & use beneficial fire on their own properties, when fire inevitably visits their neighborhood, it will burn with significantly less intensity and be exponentially easier to defend against. Fire dependency is non-negotiable.

Got some ink in this article about California's slower-than-usual wildfire season. I wouldn't say this is our "best wildfire season", though. Fires are necessary, and acres unburned this year will get fire under more severe conditions down the road. mercurynews.com/2023/07/30/why…
