Thoroughly enjoyed this short term challenge and was a fantastic 6 months at Selhurst Park. We achieved what we set out to so Iโm over the moon with that. #fm22
Last game of the season we travelled to Goodison Park with nothing to play for and thatโs how the game played out. A 1-1 draw. Taking over on the 1st January I thought Iโd bitten off more than I can chew but in the end we managed to finish 14th. We hadnโt won a single game!
We then went on to win our next 3 games on the bounce beating West Ham, Fulham and Southampton to ensure our survival and the challenge completed ๐๐ป #savingpalace #fm22
Oh how fast in can change. A week on from our 7-0 thrashing of spurs we head to Anfield and get pasted 5-0. You could not write it. #fm22

We have since played 6 more league games losing 1-0 to Arsenal, 2-0 to Brentford and 5-0 to Man Utd. Concerning we didnโt score in any of the defeats. We picked up a 2-1 win against Villa, 2-1 win against Bournemouth and a 1-0 victory against Leicester
We then had a trip up to the midlands to face wolves. And my word we put on an absolute clinic for our 3000 away supporters winning 5-0. Eze and Zaha both scoring twice. #savingpalace #fm22
We went to Leeds and managed a 3-1 win thanks to an Odsonne Edouard brace. Absolute massive result #fm22

Having completed a season in which Southampton FC won (almost) everything, missing out only on the European Super Cup, I thought it worth a blog post to see how this affected the finances of the clโฆ
Quick update on our January transfer business. Bought in Cedric, Dewsbury-Hall and Idrissi all on loan until the end of the season. We also splashed out 10mil for the Brazilian striker Brenner. #fm22
