🌶️? .. "use {thing}" directives are a terrible DX and using them more is doing nothing good for anyone. They also make a for a terrible AX as well - AIs are great at following call stacks but following callstacks and making sure they capture magic string directives.. less so
If you're not planning to support a great agent experience, I firmly believe you'll be left behind and will be irrelevant in this new world. Full stop At the same time, how we're building great AX is very emergent. Parts of it means great HTML (still), other parts are MCP(-ui)
Given the current market, I've been thinking a lot about the next generation of builders. They're AI-native but may not have professional experience yet. They just need someone to take a chance on them. Here's that opportunity: Block Builder Fellowship block.xyz/builder-fellow…
Something that's been on my mind for the last few days: Proactive marketing/sales for devtools (especially free and open source ones) is hard, and way more important than people think. I often call it sales/marketing, but really, it's education/connection at heart. It's easy to…
Web innovation is awesome. That innovation will bring exciting innovations, lots of fragmentation, and eventually consolidation on the best patterns for this new era. Exciting times! The web is going to expand in what we can do, not go away b/c there are new ways to use it
I've heard so many say that Gen AI will be the end of the web and that everything will be disintermediated in chat apps or through MCP servers. In reality we have first row seats to massive growth in both the amount of sites getting built and in the amount of builders on the…
Big win for Netlify's AX and DX! Platforms like ours provide a lot of velocity by making it easy to deploy from anywhere that fits your style. However, many teams want/need to lock down what can go to prod and force them to be validated/reviewed. You can now control this!
Can we fast forward to the point that AI agents understand PWAs? Offline enabled, background notifications, etc. Just wait
Async Workloads on Netlify are so rad for durable, serverless compute. You can do so much with them
After the @boltdotnew live stream the other day, a couple folks messaged to tell me the email listed on our website was wrong (oops!), but I'm currently out of office (yikes!), so I just used a @Netlify Agent Runner to have Claude update the site for me, all from the lil web…
AI builds fast ⚡️ But shipping isn’t about speed. It’s about trust. If you can’t see, test, or roll back what your AI agent just changed, you’re shipping blind. Transparency over velocity. Deploy previews, logs, and rollbacks are where trust begins.
Exciting launch!
Netlify's Agent Runners is on Product Hunt! producthunt.com/products/netli… I've seen data on thousands of customers and they're shipping to production faster than ever. Why? "My entire team can use this!!! Amazing!!" Entire teams are enabled to use the best agents on real sites
🚨New Launch Alert 🚨 I just noticed @netlify on Product Hunt today Their latest launch is called “Agent Runners” and guess what? I got to experience its magic last week when I built and deployed with it … just using plain English In simple terms: Agent Runners allow you…

💥 I did a small drawing explaining the JS execution model including the event loop. I hope it’s helpful to folks. Debugging is always easier when the underlying implementations are understood.
🔥🔥 I’m mind blown.. A @Netlify customer just accidentally committed a secret in their changes to @github, the automatic Netlify build did secret scanning and stopped the build from going to production automatically. They used our “why did it fail” capability to determine the…
This is how it looks like when a platform has your back, detects and solves real world workflows.
