State Farm is proud of our history of standing with organizations committed to social justice. Today, we take another step to influence change. We pledge to work with @NAACP_LDF and will donate $1M toward education and research on social injustice and its impact on communities.
Its always easier to fight against something than towards something. Easy to rile and form a group when fighting against something. Tools used- anger, fear, and naming an enemy. Fighting towards something involves, empathy, involving the "enemy" for a better future for all.
I #wish to live in a #community that when a #hopeless person is spotted, someone lacking hope. That we nudge each other, and say "Let's have hope for this person. Let's pick them up. We will hold on to #hope for them until they can carry it themselves." #EmotionalIntelligence
In this world we can't have it all and if we could what a pity. A pity for the things we would have for they would be neglected. Contentment: I want to appreciate more what I have.
