How to privatize public healthcare: Step 1: Underfund the public system. Step 2: Make people frustrated with the public system. Step 3: Introduce private for-profit options so people have no other choice. This is what’s happening right now in Ontario. It must be stopped.

FWIW, I think it's a smart idea to mask in indoor public settings to mitigate (not eliminate) risk during times of widespread resp virus transmission (eg. now). I wear one in grocery stores, on public transit, etc. (But I still go to an occasional restaurant, play hockey...)

Why is it left to individual healthcare providers to put together guidance off the side of their desk?? Why do we keep relying on volunteers instead of officials who are PAID to do this and are instead doing absolutely NOTHING?
We have a massive shortage of pediatric fever reducing meds, several anti-histamines and antibiotics. Where is the Canadian Pediatric Society? Health Canada? PHAC/PHO? Why is absolutely no one sharing any guidelines or recommendations on what parents with sick children should do?
Canadian thanksgiving is a tier one holiday. No gifting stress, no pressure to have fun like NYE, excellent food, feels "alt" vs the bloated American version, no religious stuff or pilgrims just a vague "harvest" theme, stuffing, 10/10
