As expected very light rain has started in the Piedmont this AM. We'll continue to see very light rain through 11am/12pm then slowly see a mix of rain and snow. The Mix could change to brief period of all snow from Noon-4pm. The snow rates will be light and grounds should be wet.

It's going to feel more like 10-15 degrees for the Piedmont THUR AM &several degrees below 0 for the MNTS. Make sure to bundle up in layers stepping outside for that morning commute. Feel like temps stay in the 20s throughout the afternoon as winds gust into the teens and 20s.

Arctic front moves in on WED PM bringing in MNT snow, cold temps & gusty winds. The Feel like temps THU AM will range 10-16 degrees and in the MNT 0 to -10 degrees. Mainly dry east of the MNTS, but a few light showers mixed with flurries possible WED night. (Posted 1-13-25)
