That moment when some finally understands what you have been saying all along!
Well this is my working environment for the foreseeable time. Bit slap dash, but it will do for now!!
When you are about to have tea..... the you get call when on call. 3 hours later investigation complete and the issue at fault was not something you should have been called for in the first place. The joys of on call!!
I like this....
Can't say I like it... Not really in my nature.... If I know the answer I like to share it... However I know my colleagues are very skilled and brilliant. Just wish I could help in the way I would like #notlikingnotbeingabletohelp
Given that I'm in the process of leaving from my current employment I find it strange... I have been told to take a back seat and let my colleagues take point.... It's weird knowing the answer to a problem and having to let someone else solve it!! #veryweird
So my time in the public sector is coming to an end... 18 years is a good run!!! I've enjoyed my time @MonkseatonMid and @N_landCouncil learning lots in the process.. but time for a new challenge @DXCTechnologyUK. Here I come #citrix #infrastructureengineer
Just spent 5 days imaging a Microsoft Surface Go.... why couldn't I find any driver packs for it?
Stage 1 of VDI project complete as infrastructure is built. Next week it's time to let some pilot users loose on it!
Well I have made it to the end of my first week in the new job. Been quite a steep learning curve. But so far I'm really enjoying it!

Start date agreed and now I begin the count down to the end of my time at school!
As I have had my first day after partner went back to work on my own! It went well and I wasn't worried at all!!! ;)
So this parenting thing seems to be going ok! I think I may have just cursed myself!!
So annual diabetic MOT at the hospital this afternoon. Could do without it really. But it is needed!
