If you have 0 REAL experience as a copywriter and you’re pitching a prospect. Don’t try to justify how you would kill it for him. Don’t even treat it as a sales call. Just be a normal, chill, joke around. Will go much farther than you think.

Oh no I woke up at noon on Christmas Day. My family celebrates Christmas at midnight. We stayed up till 4 in the morning opening gifts. I’m getting lapped. … There’s really people with this mindset?

Been awhile since I’ve been on X But in the last 2 weeks I’ve secured 2 clients I’m not the most experienced copywriter The secret? Just don’t be a dork Come correct but be chill It’ll get you farther than you think

I trained this personal GPT on over 300 Agora sales pages and uploaded the greatest marketing books to its knowledge base... This can take your copy and conversions to the next level with NO WORK. I added books like Breakthrough Advertising ($300+ for a USED copy), Great Leads

Cold email is not dead. Especially if you’re a copywriter. It’s the most pure form of copy. Do your research. Sell yourself. Close them.

Started copywriting in Spring Made made first $20 in September Did about $500 in October. Not glorious work But improving.

How to make a personal brand? Step 1: be a beginner. OUTREACH OUTREACH and more outreach. Everyone has to start somewhere. So send those cold DMs and emails. Gotta do the dirty work.

Just finished my first day back at school. Last semester before I graduate. Figured I’d finish it out and graduate with my friends. Crazy to look back A year ago this time- I was worried about my GPA If I’d get into law school. Now it’s not even a thought anymore. Don’t

The mistake that cost me my first client? Talking to the wrong audience. It didn’t matter how good my copy was It was never going to sell. Bad copy & Right audience > Great copy & Wrong audience.

How I would scale an info-product or coaching? 3 steps. 1. Write an ad that targets and captures an unaware audience They won’t buy - but you’ll have their attention 2. Retarget them with a problem aware + solution aware ad 3. Check your bank account

Clients are looking for three things when they hire a copywriter: • More sales • Constant communication • Speed Hit those three and you’re unbeatable

Hardest lesson I learned writing copy? Accepting and using feedback. I wasn’t used to it. In school I was always right. 4.0, graduated with honors, two degrees. When people critiqued my copy I never really took it serious I was very stubborn. It would perform decent.

When I used scripts and templates My cold outreach got ignored I was starting to give up. Instead I ditched the scripts and templates Started getting replies Was not a coincidence.

You’ve probably heard You should spend longer editing copy Than writing. That’s usually true. But don’t over edit. It’ll make your messaging boring. Keep the personality and flavor there.

Pov productivity hacks didn’t get you 10k a month

If you think copywriting is saturated Or sales, ghostwriting, etc It’s not. You/your offer just sucks. Everyone sucks at the beginning. Iterate and improve.

So many brands and businesses need help Got a welcome email from a brand They didn’t know how to use the first name code in klaviyo Fixed it for them. Made them a Labor Day weekend email. Easy $500. Easy money out there- just got to look.

Biggest mistake you can make when you’re young? Thinking the real world is anything like school. It’s not.

If you’re a copywriter There are three major types of clients: •Ecom brands • Personal brands • Agencies The best client for a beginner? Personal brands. Why? You just need to know more than the client. Close them with vibes and personality.

If you write copy in the health niche Remember People see death as something that only happens to others Super powerful to remind them it’s not
