I get that he didn't predict the disaster of the tariff rollout and I don't wish him ill but...Trump was very clear in his threats to the rights of women, people of color (DEI attacks), transgender citizens as well as first amendment rights, free press and political dissent.

I don’t have to agree with what this student wrote — that’s not the issue. You do NOT snatch someone off the street over an op-ed. That’s the kind of thing you see in China, Russia, or Iran — not in the United States. Absolutely disgraceful.
