LORD, if the path is paved and predictable, block it. Let me bleed on my own trail than bloom in their prison. Some of us weren’t built for balance. We were built for becoming.

If they’re holding secret gatherings to fight you, you must be standing on something solid.

If you think evil is done by one person, you’re naive. Bad behavior is always a group project.

She told you, “wait for me, I’m building us.” Bro, she’s now an online vendor in Turkey with a Turkish boyfriend who calls her “Habibi.” You’re in Bweyogerere printing wedding cards for a ghost.

The older you get, the more you realize peace is a flex. Not designer clothes. Not noise. Just waking up calm, with no one disturbing your vibe, that’s luxury.

You’ll be shocked how fast people forget your goodness. One bad season and you become a prayer request. That pain? It’s your promotion test. Pass it quietly.

In dysfunctional homes: 1. The kind child becomes the therapist. 2. The toxic one becomes the center. 3. The truth-teller becomes the problem. 4. And healing becomes rebellion. If you don't change the script, the generational patterns shall haunt your children too.

Ugandan families love to say: 1. “He’s still your father.” 2. “Forgive and move on.” 3. “Don’t embarrass us.” Translation: keep suffering quietly so we look good outside.

Signs your family is toxic, not traditional: 1. Everyone fears one person. 2. No one apologizes. 3. “Respect” only applies to the young. 4. Silence equals safety. 5. Everyone’s pretending to be fine.

You’ll see a toxic uncle insult everyone and still get served the biggest piece of chicken. Because in many homes, bad manners come with VIP treatment. No one wants to be the villain who speaks up.

Most families protect the troublemaker instead of the truth-teller. They’ll call you disrespectful for speaking facts but praise the one who destroys peace. That’s not unity, that’s emotional slavery.

Silence in families protects abusers, not peace.

Some family prayers are led by the same people who caused the pain.

Some of you want God’s blessing but still argue with His instructions.

If God told half of you to surrender your “Isaac,” you’d hide him in Najjera and say, “He’s at school.” We say we trust God, but when He touches what we love, we start quoting verses out of context.

I knew l matured when I was okay with nobody knowing my side of the story and letting them live with whatever version of me they have in their mind. ~Unknown

Watching bees beats a gossip session.

There’s a kind of maturity that feels like disappearing. You stop chasing closure, clapping back, or begging. You’ve seen too much to argue with noise. That’s not arrogance, that’s ascension. When God gives you peace, even chaos runs out of ideas.

When your luck dries up, even your name sounds like a problem. Even the loudest “bro” can’t handle your bad season.
