Between 2008 and 2019, about 110,000 people died waiting for a disability hearing, not a determination, just a hearing. Now, bare with me, but what happened in 2020? A mass disabling event that is still ongoing which has meant increased wait times for such a service.
They removed existing work requirements for veterans, homeless, & disabled, added them for able-bodied people 50-54 with no kids, but everyone is screaming about how they added work requirements. I think there should be none at all, but it's wild how this is being spun.
