As someone who was at the forefront of live streaming, VOD, and a co-founder of IWTV, I can confidently say that the benefits of being seen by more eyes outweigh the benefits of being behind a paywall for 99% of companies. It's not strictly about monetization, it's about reach.
Speaking as someone who was at the forefront of releasing shows for free on YouTube for more than a decade... I can confidently say any indie wrestling organization that wants to present a full card without any sort of creative restrictions should be broadcast on @indiewrestling.
