My message to #ABCD Tallinn: the Russian threat is here to stay. We will not be intimidated. We help Ukraine and boost our defence capabilities in a faster, cheaper and smarter way. Estonia is prepared, investing 5% of GDP in defence and building up our defence industry.
The NAC strongly condemned Russia’s violations of Estonian airspace. As @SecGenNATO rightly noted, intent doesn’t matter – such behavior won’t be tolerated. Allies stand firmly with Estonia. NATO will strengthen deterrence and defense, and Estonia is doing its part.
