Lovely reference to a donor in common! William Loryng bequeathed his civil law books to @theUL: his will, proved March 1416 (along with that of William Hunden), contains the earliest reference to a library @Cambridge_Uni. His copy of Justinian is still in @theUL, as MS Dd.7.17.
