Do not let anyone lie to you that there is a peaceful protest today. Call them out. This is a riot, and violence and looting and vandalism IN THE CAPITAL BUILDING. They are inciting terror to pursue a political ideology. There's a name for that.
I don't recall #BlackLivesMatter even *trying* to get into the Capital building, but then it was probably hard to see it over all the teargas the police fired.
Don't label the Trumpers trying to literally storm the capital as protestors. Protest was people marching through DC saying "Don't shoot us" and the cops shooting them. Sedition is these people saying "We'll shoot you" and the cops just shoving them back.

Step one is done. Now begins step two. 70 million people are not going to be terribly happy and we have to convince them or work around them.
Remember all, today is the day we only have to make sure one thing is done. All our anxiety, fear, anger, pain, hope, needs, and general “blah ness” about things focused into a tiny point to stand in a line and point on the ballot card. Let’s go be American today. Vote with love.
