Talked about structural realism, Russell's version of the view, the Newman problem & some connections btw those & similar issues in other areas of philosophy e.g. metaphysics and philosophy of computation. Not the main subject of my research but I keep coming back to it. Had fun.

OMG it IS a PhD student
I'm excited to try it, but so far my experience of Deep Research is it asks me many questions about the prompt, then tells me it'll "get back to me soon", then I never hear from it again...

In summer’24, I read the “Bohm-Krishnamurti” dialogue. I really enjoyed the fundamental questions & doubts that Bohm raised about the nature of reality and consciousness! Today, I brought these two works of Bohm and an additional one—Philosophy of Mathematics by Oystein Linnebo.

It’s crazy how talking with a science buddy is simultaneously what’s most likely to move the project forward and the thing that’s least prioritized in our schedule.
This is just nuts. You can't just pretend that every problem exists forever and never gets solved!!
"We fixed the problem" can be a taboo phrase in progressive circles.
