Our latest @MSSL_Planetary graduate Cristian Radulescu passed his PhD viva today. Thesis on 'Heavy ion distribution and influence on the Saturnian magnetosphere', using Cassini data & simulations. Many thanks to examiners David Burgess (QMUL) & Colin Forsyth. Well done Cristian!

At the Mullard Space Science Laboratory we are proud to have played a key role in the development of Gaia's Radial Velocity Spectrometer, which reveals the speed at which stars are moving towards or away from us. The mission may have ended, but more data will be released!
