I really don’t understand why the decision was made in #macos13 Ventura to remove the “Hide” application option for automatic login apps in System Settings > General > Login Items. It’s been there for 20+ years of macOS. Can you explain @AppleSupport ?

@typefi released @typefitter 5.2 with support for @InDesign! Anyone who sets books and other long documents definitely needs this plugin. I don’t start using a new version of InDesifn until Typefitter is compatible. You shouldn’t either!

2/2 Didn’t see that “Peel” and relied on past experience. Called @AppleSupport and was told I was her third caller with the same issue. Guess I’m not the only one who missed it. Need to make that more clear Apple. Thankfully I realized the problem b/c I almost called again!
1/2 Bought a new iPad and traded my old one in. @AppleSupport sends you a box for the old device. In the past, the box included a shipping label. Now however, you simply peel off the label used to ship the box to you which reveals the return label.

The Preview app in macOS #Ventura apparently drops support for viewing PostScript (.ps) and Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) files.: support.apple.com/en-us/HT213250 I haven’t run across a .ps file in years, but I routinely get and use .eps files.
