Made Up Collective will open a not-for-profit pub and training kitchen as part of a new student accommodation development on Stratford High St. Kiran sees this as a “huge step in embedding community into development”.

The @V_and_A took this recycling & repurposing to another level & created furniture made from reclaimed crates to make multi-functional tables & benches for community groups. Some of the furniture was used to host a food waste feast with @MadeUpKitchen. #CreativeClimateAction

We recently visited @365_rise & @MadeUpKitchen's community shop in Hackney that’s put young people at the centre of the movement. Joyclen, the founder of RISE 365, tells us, “This is about empowering people and, for the kids, learning life skills that they can take with them.”
Exciting news - we're partnering with @JOCookerySchool in a one-off special on May 27th, where Christiane will be teaching her Brown Stew Chicken with Rice & Peas & Coleslaw. All class proceeds will be donated to @MadeUpKitchen, a community kitchen close to Christiane’s heart.
