As I was just mentioning to Jonathan, my chain rule proof requires differentiability of the function on its domain. I think it works where the original function has a cusp or a vertical tangent, but I'd have to consider other cases though.

Adds so much to the traditional chain rule calculus proof: f(-x) = f(x) → f'(-x)•(-1) = f'(x) → f'(-x) = -f'(x) 😊
