It is #BreastCancerAwareness and almost my 2 year diagnosis anniversary so checking in here for the first time in months. Heartbroken to see those lost in that time. I am still tolerating letrozole and zoladex. I have follow up appts. this month and will try to update more soon.

So far so good. 6 months post TCHP #chemo ending. Also here's my #hair currently after I had my first post chemo haircut last month (sides shortened). To get my hair cut out of desire instead of necessity was a very nice milestone 💓
I haven't posted here in a while. Thankfully things have been pretty "normal," which is to say various parenting and life challenges without the #cancer treatments added in. I am still doing monthly zoladex and daily letrozole treatments. & surgeon follow up this Wednesday.
Current #hair and one of my favorite maternity pics (from 2017) to show the hair and length I'm used to. This is why when people tell me how cute my short hair is, I still think it doesn't feel like me. I'm grateful for so much, but these feelings are valid too. #cancer #chemo

“You’re so brave.” No, no, I am beside myself with fear. “You’re such an inspiration”. K, but I’m pretty sure if YOU ever get cancer you will not want me to remind you that should live up to the “robot version” of inspiration you think I am right now.

Another #infusion day. 3 maintenence chemo appts. after this. Today lots has gone wrong, BUT my nurse is awesome, my meds came much faster than usual, and they brought me a ton of hospital graham crackers #comfortfood. So I'll take it.
Today I get to start a new part of my #breastcancer journey with my first #zolodex. I have no issues with needles generally though my anxiety will ramp up if the administer counts beforehand. This needle contraption is a little daunting at first glance though. SS from co. site.
Went hiking with my husband Monday while a couple of my kids did mountain biking practice. Sometimes you just need a walk in the woods.
I didn't have to leave the house today for the first time in weeks, and it was glorious.
And done with that round of #radiation Of course I have an infusion maintenence treatment tomorrow so still will be at the hospital, but yay for this. And I got to add my #breastcancer pink thumbprint to the big tree in Radiation. It's the heart one 💗
