Patrick was the name I gave to my cancer. I always viewed my time with Patrick not as a battle but as a journey. This book is the tale of our adventures and its consequences, both the very negative and the very positive. amzn.to/3fIotYx #Cancer #chemotherapy #depression

I wrote this in the hope that it might be of help, and possibly even an inspiration, to others on their own #cancer journey. The reviews would suggest it's a good read, but you'll never know if you don't buy one! @macmillancancer @LymphomaAction amzn.to/3fIotYx

This describes perfectly my journey with Patrick (my cancer). He was driving! Perhaps I should rename my book #cancer #cancersurvivor #chemo #cancerjourney @youmebigc @macmillancancer @ThanksCancer @SU2C

Something needs to be done. Join me and over 60 cancer charities coming together as #OneCancerVoice asking the Prime Minister to address the cancer emergency in England. Sign the petition (hosted by CRUK): bit.ly/OCVPetitionT

You're not kidding. Chemo brain is a real thing!

Cancer fatigue is more than just physical.

The story of my journey with my cancer, Patrick, is a tale of both the negative and hugely positive effects of my illness and treatment. I wrote it in the hope that it would benefit others on their own journey. Please help me to raise its profile #cancer amzn.to/3fIotYx

As upsetting as cancer can be, it is possible to find some good among the bad. Things that once looked important no longer do, and other things now take on importance. What you need to know about the power of resilience: copingmag.com/the-power-of-r… #CopingWithCancer

Me and the Small Frys on a magazine cover! I organised this photo shoot shortly after my diagnosis, in case my journey didn't end well. This edition includes 'My Story' and references my book 'The Adventures of Me and Patrick'. @LymphomaAction #cancerjourney #cancersurvivor

This seems to be happening on an alarming level since the start ofvthe pandemic. Something needs to be done

The only thing worse than cancer treatment is not being able to get cancer treatment.

Feelings of anxiety and depression can affect us all. If you need help with your mental health, you can refer yourself, or your GP can refer you. Let us help you get your feet back on the ground.

Yesterday may have been shit, today may not be much better, but don't pre-judge tomorrow. I've suffered from depression for 40+ years. That's a lot of days. Some have been more than a little shit, but I've still had more good days than bad. #depression #Mentalhealth

A tale of a single parent's #chemo induced crock of sh*t and massive post remission issues. Patrick & I were inseperable - a carcinogenic Ant & Dec. In terms of my #mentalhealth - best thing that's ever happened to me! Enjoy! #cancersurvivor #thankscancer amzn.to/3fIotYx

This is so true and something that needs to be talked about more. Don't be fooled by how someone appears

The only thing worse than cancer treatment is not being able to get cancer treatment.

Wow! Yes! Thank you

I am bullied. Humiliated, belittled. Disrespected, controlled and threatened. Subjected to physical and psychological abuse - constantly. At work, at home, at leisure. During the day, also at night. How? I am the victim and also the perpetrator. The bully is my own mind. (1/2)
