Usually an ellipsis in a quote like this is used to unfairly twist context. But no, the ellipsis here simply cuts a rant where he continues to trash Arnold’s performance on a game by game basis.

NEW: Hugh Freeze to @_JHokanson on Jackson Arnold: “Let’s be clear, this is not a beat up Jackson... But certainly, it didn’t work out to the level that he nor I both expected for him and our team. And that’s why I’m sitting here.” on3.com/college/auburn…

I’m proud of being from Alabama. That doesn’t mean I’d be comfortable with being welcomed to a new job and seeing my face superimposed over confederate flags.

Golesh has literally said he is proud of where he is from and that he wants to visit again with his family. This is no different from the freeze warning shit. Let people celebrate their new leader and comrade.

Per source, Ole Miss was offering a "nearly identical" deal as LSU. It was never about his compensation. TV punditry throughout this saga has been as embarrassing as I've seen.

Adam Schefter: "[Lane Kiffin] was making 7 million dollars a year... What I don't understand... is why didn't Ole Miss step up and pay him?" An exasperated Paul Finebaum: "The money was going to be the same everywhere. Ole Miss was not gonna let him get away for a couple million…

It’s almost as if refugees build this nation into something better

In 1991, 7-year-old Alex Golesh watched tanks roll through Red Square. His family escaped to America with $400. Now Alex is the head football coach at USF, even though he never played college ball. 🧵THREAD

It’s time to seriously talk about the messaging apparatus Jimmy Sexton and CAA have created with Nick Saban, ESPN, and a perch of friendly reporters. This is getting disgusting

"This is not a Lane Kiffin conundrum. This is a college football conundrum that we need some leadership to step up and change the rules on how this gets done." Nick Saban weighs in on Lane Kiffin potentially leaving Ole Miss ✍️

Lost what little respect I had, Dan

Hugh is probably done, and nobody is going to scream that it’s unfair, but there’s a good case to just play it out another year.
