A @SoxMachine Video Highlight presented by @ankinlaw @JRFegan asked Chicago White Sox director of hitting, Ryan Fuller, about Torpedo Bats. Great insight in how the White Sox evaluate which players would be a good fit for the bat model.
This sucks.
Cart is out immediately for Warner. Looked like he got rolled up on from behind.
Fegan just got him! This is entertainment.
Catching up on @SoxMachine podcasts - and @soxmachine_josh & @JRFegan missed him as well (rimshot).
Chilling at the Mile 23 mark. 1) I admire the hell out of everyone running this race 2) I still think y'all are crazy running this far
The top 5 of the updated Fornelli Ratings 1. Texas Tech 2. Indiana 3. Ohio State 4. Miami 5. Oregon The rest: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…

The White Sox were rolling with shorter-than-average players even before they actively started attempting to emulate the Brewers, but they showed how it was supposed to work. soxmachine.com/2025/10/spare-…
Doesn't matter if they lose their shortstop, their best pitcher, their turncoat manager or their general manager, the @Brewers just keep on trucking -- and show teams like the White Sox, Reds, Pirates, Cardinals, Padres, Twins and many others, it CAN be done. #respect.
Looked it up, and I think it'd be the first time since 1980 to have two teams that have never won meet in the world series. And shockingly, it would only be like 5 time ever
so far this postseason: - Teams to score first are 17-12 - Teams to out-homer opponents are 16-4 (23-8 in ‘24 PS) - 40.3% of runs have been scored via HR (was 41.1% in ’25 RS, 47.0% in '24 PS)
Actually 3 nights, cuz the ending of the Phillies game was insane, too. 🫨
I want one of those two to win. Always liked Seattle and went to a lot of games when they’d come to Chicago because of Ichiro and Griffey.
Column: The words written on the back of Curt Cignetti’s hand — were they the secret to the greatest coaching job we’ve ever seen? Nah. No secrets, no gimmicks. Indiana is simply an excellent team, capable of competing on a previously unimaginable level. bit.ly/475hEtN
We are close to Seattle vs. Milwaukee World Series. Neither franchise has won one. That's what I'm rooting for, but expecting Blue Jays vs. Dodgers.
Choose... Who has the best story in the Postseason. Who do you WANT to win..?
Bernie’s Slide:

Yes.
Correct me if I’m am wrong, but wasn’t he on pace for like the worst season in mlb history (if measured by war) before leaving the Sox
