Game 73 #heroclix Recreating Friends of Humanity vs Storm, Bishop & Cyclops from ep1 of #XMen97 Team X swept thru; no chance for reinforcements.
Game 72 #heroclix Taking inspiration from cartoon, chase Kurt & Logan added Morph for 200pts vs 250pts of Sentinels. Great 1st effort by triple attacking Kurt. Logan wasn't as accurate. Used Morph as Hulk/Magik/Quicksilver & to rescue wounded team mates. Battered but victorious
Game 71 #heroclix 200pts team change. Some low rolls for both teams meant the game went to distance. Sentinels rolled well to bring in reinforcements. After picking off Wolverine, they whittled it down to Storm who eventually fell. Win for team Sentinel.
Game 70 #heroclix 200pt game. 3 X-men vs the Prime Sentinels. Using Wolverine at full dial & let his Invuln/Mastermind absorb dmg & heal it back via the TA is better than his at lower pt cost. Rogue copied Jean's Prob&ESD. Jean later Mind-control was used a lot.
Game 67 ##heroclix Xmen vs Sentinels. X started strong, Cyke pulled them out with his trait. Sentinels hit back hard, 1-shotted Cyke. Kept Wolvie at bay until a 6BCF! Rogue fell. KOs triggered x4 Sentinels. Wounded Storm brought the ccrit hit EE lightning to wipe them out.
Game 66 #heroclix Running the Patch SR with friends vs some Logan villains. Wade xame thru with 2 pivotal 6 dmg on his BCF & didn't roll low. Albert & LCD had their 1st KO!
Game 65 #heroclix I went theme with DCeased Darkseid & old skool figs for an uphill cosmic battle of Thanos & Silver Surfer & mighty sideline. Funny but was always gonna end one way lol
Game 64 ##heroclix Gotham Underworld has found the Batcave. Good game, saw a bunch of powers used. Red Hood made himself a target. Alfred helped Damian stop the Joker for an extra 25pts. Batman & Azrael teamed up to.finally stop a double venom fuelled Bane
Game 63 #heroclix Find Logan. Alpha Flight w/ alpha strike. Sasquatch opened up on Rogue outwitted Archangel & let Guardian crit hit him Team effort to drop Sasquatch Epic quake from Puck! Wounded X-men turned the tide A deleted AF team found Logan but X-men closed in for the win
I am so sad to hear about the death of Jane Goodall. She spent a lifetime teaching us that, as humans, we are no more entitled to our glorious planet than the animals she so lovingly protected. We have lost someone remarkable.
Game 62 #heroclix A bye-bye game to a few XDPS x-men vs XDPS colossals. X-men held their own, I do love that Jean/Cyke duo. Late game I was 1 off so many rolls & cost me the game I lead in as Xavier finally fell. He's fun but 100pts for 5 clicks is a risk, even in casual!
Game 61 #heroclix My new sets plus Superman vs Starjammers. Allow start on the dice allowed some dmg in. Harley/Ivy have beautiful synergy. Cowl terrain got used to the max. We worked out if we're holding the kryronite ring, it can't hurt us (let me know if that's right!)
Game 60 #heroclix Another late night "don't fancy a screen", I'll play clix. Haven't played Kong for a little while. Somehow Bruce was last one standing when the timer hit, Batcomputer to the rescue!
Game 59 #heroclix 2 new iconix to.play with & 3D printed & painter plant 🪴 terrain. Just working thru the cards, see how they work. Both are decent!
Game 58 #heroclix Practice game to see how my holiday find works. It's the Harley/Valentine iconix that the UK didn't really get at the time. They have great synergy Didn't think they'd hold their own bit the plant markers for defence,attack & their shared healing swung it
