Excited to speak at #NCTMATL25, Oct. 15–18! Join me to explore carefully curated math interviews designed to uncover what our youngest mathematicians know. We will explore reporting strategies, ways to track growth, and developmentally appropriate instructional next steps.
Just interviewed a student. He surprised us all. His first grade class is learning to count to 20, and we just discovered he has number sense within 1,000. Math interviews always uncover that students know more than we think!
