First Grade Cinderella Ball was an enchanting time! The activities were a celebration of the Wit and Wisdom Fairy Tales lessons. A huge thank you to everyone that made it possible including our first grade team, staff, families and especially the magical Mrs. Emerson!

I would say students are starting to answer our essential question, “How do books change lives across the world?” We introduced our new famous book, Green Eggs and Ham. Every child had a copy and one student asked if we could just have DEAR time for a minute! ❤️❤️❤️
Story suitcase has been changed! I wonder what our new book is going to be about? Last week a student said, “At first I thought we were really traveling, but now I know we are traveling through books!” Proud teacher moment! 💡 Check ParentSquare for more pics of our day!

We started the year reading Only One You. We ended the year with Love You When by Linda Kranz. Years back I wrote to her during Covid and she sent me her rock book with a personalized letter. Forever grateful! Today we carried on our first grade tradition by putting rocks outside
Check backpacks! Portfolios went home! 🥰 They are so much work but my favorite to reflect on the year. So sad the year has come to an end! I always feel like we never have enough time together at the end!
