On this day in #GaWxHistory 38 years ago in Atlanta. Who remembers the 1982 Snow Jam?
Weather conditions are currently benign across north and central Georgia, but that was not the case 38 years ago on this day in #GaWxHistory. In 1982, a freak snow storm, now known as Snow Jam, occurred in the Atlanta metro area at rush hour. (1/2)
