Over the course of its first 14 years of activities, YIU interviewed over 6000 witnesses to the #Holocaust by bullets and discovered 2400 killing sites. 2 years later that figure now stands at over 7000 interviewed and nearly 3000 killing sites discovered. #BeyondMemory

Field seminar for 30 students from les Minimes school organized by @yahadinunum in the Cracow region. They had the opportunity to meet a witness of the Holocaust in Mszana Dolna.
The students had the opportunity to meet Stefan, an eye-witness to the massacre of 881 Jewish men, women and children, killed in the town on August 19th 1942. Human connections engender empathy. With empathy we fight hate. #BeyondMemory
