I always say I can’t imagine Christ telling me that I shouldn’t have loved someone as much as I did.
Sometimes I wonder if I’ve tainted my faith with leftism and gone astray but then I imagine meeting Jesus and try to imagine him explaining that I cared too much about the poor and oppressed and, yeah, I’m okay with my politics.
